Cptbaker08
Well i would suggest doing Lunar Diplomacy and Dream mentor. This unlocks the spell String Jewellery at level 80 magic. This is one of the most cost effective methods to get magic levels. Until 80 magic i would suggest to high alch your way to 80. If you don't want to, or can't quest for some reason, then get to 80 magic and cast stun. If you pvp any you could always kill and hope for Magic Brawlers  . dirk4slayer
Superheat Item is also good xp. Chuck Norris doesn't ever need a compass; he randomly points somewhere and north goes there in order not to anger him.
leonxb
Maybe you could cast fire bolt? It's actually a really good way to raise mage. Here are some calculations: You have around 1.250.000xp, and for 99 you need 13.100.000xp. So you need roughly 11.850.000xp to get 99 mage. Four fire runes cost 36gp, and one chaos rune costs 102gp at the time of writing. So 1 cast of fire bolt costs 138gp. You got 27mil gp, so you can cast fire bolt around 195.500 times. If you wear chaos gauntlets your average hit will be 7,5. The base xp for fire bolt is 22,5. So 22.5+15=37.5; the average xp you will get per cast. 37.5*195.500=7.331.250. So if you spend 27mil on fire bolts you can expect roughly 7.3mil xp. And if you cast it during slayer tasks, you probably will make enough money to buy another 100k casts for the rest of the xp. It's a really quick way to train mage and it's less boring than alching. Good luck!

Gilformen
yep, mta is good. thats what im doing to 99. if you buy cosmics, onyx enchant is 2gp/xp, if you buy pess and make your own, its a very nice 1gp/xp. 32,606th to 99 magic || 15,388th to 99 dungeoneering || 12,647th to 99 farming14,792nd to 99 range || 24,954th to 99 herblore
cujoman31
Dont limit yourself to the normal spellbook if you dont have to. Lunar is a great book to have especially for training. Humidify, string jewellery, plank make, Ive heard even superglass make is pretty good too. you have the options of alching, combat, stunning, and enchanting jewellery on the normal book. All of which require a fair bit of attention. None of them are really that good of experience, alching is okay, but wont get you the gp/xp and speed as some of the lunar methods. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
