A few "Slayer Helm" questions.

First of all, i am about 2tasks away from having enough points to get myself a Slayer Helm. Here are just a few questions about the Slayer Helm:

 

 

 

1.) Is it worth it, or should i spend my points on something else?

 

 

 

2.) How can i enchant the Slayer Helm to hold Summoning Scrolls?

 

 

 

3.) Is the Slayer Helm usefull for anything other than Slayer?

 

 

 

4.) Does the Slayer Helm Stats stack with that of a Salve Amulet (e)?

 

 

 

5.) Does a Slayer Helm only work on Slayer tasks? Or does it work on any Slayer Monster?

1) Yes its worth it

 

 

 

2) Take it to the guy in taverly same as all helm enchnatments

 

 

 

3) its good for training at slayer monsters thth require items or combo of items as it supplies the itme and SOME stats opposed to jsut the item

 

 

 

4) The stats do, the bonuses don;t. Same as black mask doesnt stack

 

 

 

5) The bonus only work on ur slayer task same as black mask

You're a fool. Tasks like steel dragons aren't worth doing in any situation.

2. Same as you would with any enchantable helm, summoning master - enchant option.

 

3. Yes, dust devil killing (exp and charms) and spectors to name 2.

 

4. Stats yes, boost no.

 

5. Yes its just a supped up version of a black mask.

 

 

 

So only 3 is different to what others have said.

Quick question, if i have no monsters blocked (just did smoking kills) and I get 400 points without having to block what do I do?

I would get the helm first honestly. Also, the helm gives around +30 in def stats, while mask gives around +9 or 10, so it has better def. As well, it is great for any monster which requires head gear to kill, although it does not give its %15 bonus to attack and strenght.

Wrong. If you get undead tasks. Using Helm of Neitiznot with Salve (e) is better. ALWAYS. The bonuses highest is taken instead of the lower one.

Actually...according to Tip.it calculator, somehow they happen to have equal damage. -.- It doesn't say about attack though, so extra 5% on undead is probably better than +10 slash/crush/stab.

NOT worth it UNLESS you already have as many as you can blocked, blocking monsters is far more useful, as almost all monsters that slayer helm is more useful for (that need diffrent headgear) you can use slave ammy, the only one you need somthign besides blk mask to kill and is NOT undead is dust devils, but i rarly get those.. first perm block all the tasks you can then get helm

20 strength bonus is better than 10% strength bonus so 10 attack bonus is probably better than 5% attack bonus.

Uh. What? Slayer helm+Fury is 15% attack+strength, and 10 offensive bonus+8 strength.

 

Neitiznot+Salve is 20% attack+strength+3 strength.

 

 

 

3 more kill per hour is negligible and can happen due to variation in hits. In a large experiment it's really 0.

And I agree that the slight increase may very well be coincidence, but fury gives a large defence bonus and 2 more prayer than salve.

I am also talking about maxed strength. Most of the time you wouldn't really need defense anyway, and the only place needing prayer bonus is aberrant spectres.
