Info on different money-making methods: Cash per hour?

Seogege

Recommended Posts

I've heard of countless numbers of money-making methods. Some of the methods' cash per hour rates seem grossly exaggerated, so I'd like to know which ones are legitimate and which ones are too good to be true. I'll list the methods I've heard of and their claimed cash per hour rates:

  • [*:dlcha7rs]Green Dragons: 395k

    [*:dlcha7rs]Oak Planks: 380k

    [*:dlcha7rs]Double Nats: 1M+

I also have heard of some methods that I don't know the cash per hour rates for:

  • [*:dlcha7rs]Gathering whiteberries (Wilderness)

    [*:dlcha7rs]Crafting nature runes (single)

    [*:dlcha7rs]Hunting red chinchompas (63+, 70+, 80+)

    [*:dlcha7rs]Crafting law runes

[*:dlcha7rs]Tanning hides (Green, Blue, Red, Black, Cow)

    [*:dlcha7rs]Teletab making

Thanks guys, you rock! ::'

Why ask about single nats, it's obviously half of double.

I was averaging... 300 chins an hour at level 80.

I'm not sure about the others.

No, it's not that.

Look at it this way. nats are like 220, ess is like 140?

so that's 80 profit. But you get 2x nats and that's 300 profit.

Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again

Well I'm not completely sure about the rates for double nats either, so any would help. :?

300 chins... that's 210k an hour? That's pretty cool, what about the other levels?

Through the abyss, I usually make 4k nats per hour (double). So that's 880k excluding the price of essence. So if you include the price of essence, it's 620k. But I've heard that with Graahk Spirits, people make 6k nats per hour (double). So that's 1320k without essence, or 930k including the price of essence.

Green dragons: 650k + 200k in charms. Avansies: 825k. Double nats: 900k.

All the other methods you mentioned are under 350-400k.

Few people will believe my green drag\avansies rates, so I'm just going to say this once: They are the best possible runs for maxed stats with perfect invos and outfits under the best possible conditions by a highly skilled player, gathered over hundreds of hours of highly accurate testing. Scale them down appropriately to your levels\skills.

I hit max 600k at green drags, using duel ring to fog, yak, super sets. mind you of course you can have better hours, hitting fewer 0s.

But it does seem possible, but not consistant

Greatly overestimated lol that 5K..

I've been doing a lot of nature tests already: and it's (doubling from what I get now at single nats) about 4.5-5K if I go at top-speed! - A more "normal" calculation would be 3-4K/hour graahking: faster is simply too much attention-demanding!

@compfreak847: I doubt those numbers really! - I know they're actually very good, but I think even for maxed stats it'll turn out to be around 400-500k/hour.

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Well, thank you for the info on double nats. It's nice to have a more accurate answer. 620k without a summoning monster is pretty cool, and 920k is even cooler. :P

Also, I never knew that green dragons could pull in that much. Thanks for disputing that topic btw... :?

Oak plank making is just running back and forth to the sawmill with a spirit terrorbird familiar giving you lots of run and an extra 12 inventory spaces. Looks like the estimate for that isn't off too much. ::'

Thanks for the info guys, but can anyone tell me the rates for tanning hides? Thanks again!

Enough spamming and flaming. Let's get back on-topic please.

The author still wants to know the rates for tanning hides.

There's no way that you're only making 3-4k DOUBLED natures per hour (so 1.5k-2k essence) with Graahk. Graahk is supposed to be faster than Abyss, that's why so many people use it.. and since I make 4k nats through the abyss.. it has to be more.

My numbers were based off of this guide: Fastest & Most effective Way to craft Natures - Up to 6300/h and a few people in BlogScape, who use the Graahk method.

  • 2 weeks later...

From what ive hear Tanning Hides are bad money. 120k an hour max. With your levels you can so easily make 300k an hour at Aviansies or at Green Dragons.

This is absolute best, the average 'scaper would be lucky to get half those figures.

But I agree if you have the dedication to max all your stats then concentrating for an hour solid would be a walk in the park.

Tanning depends on the player and the dedication too.

You make about 120 per hide (green dragon) say your using a terror bird (40 spaces) and have scrolls and cash on you that's about 5k per trip. If you do a trip a minutes its ~300k per hour.

    Granite Maul x 3

Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats]
