I was thinking of joining a merchanting clan. Do you think I should? I want to finally complete my goal of 99 Prayer :P.

Ussually only the leaders of those clans get profits. So you should gain around -100k or so a day.

These sort of clan chats are just full of people who just want to get rich quick.

 

The majority of these are controlled by one or two people who make more money than everyone else (ie they buy out an item before the item is even announced to the clan chat) then they dump them all before they tell everyone to dump theirs. Meaning they just use people to drive prices up for their own benefit. Even though you might make a profit, there are better ways.

 

 

 

If i were you i would avoid these clans, as things can change quickly. Make your own decisions based on grand exchange graphs and current demand price fluctuations.

If you really don't want to learn how to do it yourself then my advice, dump early on them. Don't hold your items more than one ge update.

To be successful in a merch clan you need to have at least 100m, and must not care to risk all of it. I wouldn't join one tbh considering with 100m invested you'd earn on average 20-30m a week, which can be made through gwd atm in a shorter time. Also most people in merch clans are looked down upon. But if you do decide to join one, don't join chessy or any other big named ones, they just use their members for their own personal gain.
