Void Melee + Salve (e) Amulet?

Do the boosts combine? I know Void gives + 15 and Salve (e) gives + 20 right?

Im pretty sure they combine, they let you combine them when find your max hit.

Well my friend tested it and he told that they don't stack, he used it at armoured zombies...

With just void my max was 31

 

with jsut slave my max was 32

 

 

 

with both my max was 34

 

 

 

I hit lots of 33 and 34 while training.

The calc might not take into account that they don't stack and just calculates them normally if they were to stack.

 

 

 

Just try it with only void and a weapon and then only the salve with a weapon (No other stat boosting items like a torso or gloves, anything that could affect your max hit). After that, test it with both on (remember, don't use anything like a DFS, defender, barrows gloves, or d boots or it'll skew results). If you hit higher than your salve or void trials, then it stacks. If not, then it doesn't.

Dude look this:

 

 

 

Void - 10% str and att

 

Salve (e) - 20% str and att

 

Super set - 15% str and att

 

Piety - 23% str 20% att

 

 

 

Total boost = 68% str and 65% att

 

 

 

A guy with 99 and wearing all that things would be lv 166 strenght and 165 attack....You think that's possible?

tried it and they do stack! Max hit is definately higher using void. End of discussion pkease

And on both of those threads I've given proof.

 

 

 

The other one I even wrote out my exact inputs to the max hit calc.

 

 

 

Pure and simple fact is they do stack

 

With void alone my max was 31

 

with slave alone max was 32

 

I had both on and was hitting 33 and 34, calc says max is 34 with both.

Tbh i jsut think alot of people forget the gloves.

 

 

 

I mean hardly any tactic guides recommend void melee and a load of meleers right it off as useless and poor bonuses.

 

So I just think a lot of meleers totally forget it has gloves (working off the fact armour sets such as barrows don't) and therefore they don't get the void bonus.

 

 

 

All I know is that i trained on armoured zombies for several weeks and hit at least 1 33 or 34 a day and with my stats and equipment this is impossible unless the slave and void were stacking.

I can hit 39s if i have the right gear on.

 

 

 

This isn't about the absolute max hit. This is the max hit in the gear i was using at armoured zombies to train defence.
