right now after a lucky clue scroll i've got just over 50mil cash in my bank and i feel like it's just pointless sitting there so i was considering buying one of these 3 options: full banods + dfs, full bandos + bgs, or sgs. i do alot of slayer and a bit of boss hunting...so what do you think the best option would be???

I am very partial to dfs', so personally i would use that, but the sgs is probably more practical. But it all depends on what you're doing.

Bandos is mostly pointless; Barrows has better stats and is much cheaper. For slayer, buy a BGS.

 

 

 

I'd recommend putting the rest into Construction or Summoning, which helps a ton with slayer.

Dfs is mostly pointless imo, Buy an sgs :thumbsup:

DFS is really only beneficial when fighting dragons or wyverns (yes, it protects against their magic), because it has waay better stats than an Anti-Drag or mind shield. I guess unless you want to camp at dragons/wyverns, leave the DFS out.

if i was to buy sgs for slayer should i use a whip then sgs for spec or just use sgs for the entire task?

Use the whip and then use sgs for specs. Certain tasks sgs is better than whip.

I would get a SGS and bandos chest + tassets. Get them in any order you like. :

If you slay buy an sgs, nothing compares.

BAndos is really god, as it gives a good str bonus, pray bonus and you dont have to repair it...

 

 

 

So if you dont have cash for Bandos + sgs...I would recommend 68 sum + bandos with dfs and whip :)

Barrows and a whip is fine, and if you have a bunyip you really do not need guthans or an SGS.

 

 

 

I'd just use it to get a 99, like crafting or smithing. A very respected cape that still doesnt cost too much.

Dfs is pro, you can do some pretty fancy pvp combos with it.

 

 

 

But godswords just look so good...

I dont see how that was 'clear'.

i would personally get bandos and armadyl armour (i know that wasnt an option) and maybe an ss and spend the rest on skills.

 

-dfs is only good if you really want it other shields are on a par with it.

 

-bgs is ok but not as good as ss or whip.

 

-and since the seers achievement diary introduced the new Excalibur the sgs has become overpirced item.

If you do a ton of grinding on easy monsters (i.e. Slayer), get the bandos and a berserker ring. The strength bonuses help out, albeit only a little bit. Don't bother with those godsword novelties - they aren't good for training - Whip and Defender cleans 95% of monsters more quickly.

 

 

 

Only buy DFS if you're going to kill lots of dragons.
