cat666
Bgs is a 'toy' with no practical use. Not strictly true. Any GS fails for training, except maybe the SGS but even then it's only the spec which is usful. However for boss hunting the BGS is usful, especially for Bandos. Trust the Gene Genie! Friendyboy
I have a BGS using it mostly for slayer tasks. I was not certain if I wanted to buy it or not, but now I have.....I by no means regret having it! With a whip and BGS combo, kills are quick. I hit a 63 the otrher day which was a surprise to see! haha 16x Black mask1x Dragon Chainbody1x Dragonic Visage32x Dragon BootsObsidian Drops:-13 x Cape/ 6 x Shield/ 6 x Maul/ 750+ Onyx Tips
Everyonedies
Bandos is good for many things. Treasure trails is a good one makes the fights with the wizards a breeze once they are speced. Its also good on slayer tasks on tougher npcs makes every 5 or 6 die easy if you hit well with the spec. I have one and i love it. Never tried out sarodomin gs but my guthans and Ancient mace fill the sgs role much cheaper. http://www.clanhavok.net/
Bladewing
Treasure trails is a good one makes the fights with the wizards a breeze once they are speced. ...with a DDS. The mages are pushovers. Its also good on slayer tasks on tougher npcs makes every 5 or 6 die easy if you hit well with the spec. Super Attacks and a Rune Defender will solve this "problem". On every single Slayer monster I've encountered (which is all :), you will get faster kills with a whip/defender. Except for dragons, heh. Never tried out sarodomin gs but my guthans and Ancient mace fill the sgs role much cheaper. Bunyip/Unicorn make both of those healing methods obsolete. Ancient mace fails with accuracy, otherwise I'd agree with that. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
gorgoroth
With your Stats a BGS will be really handy, especially since you do God Wars now and then. I would buy it. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
chris924
I say try borrowing one for an hour or so and give it a try. I was sold on a GS (when I borrowed my friends) as soon as I dropped my first 60 on a dust devil. Try it fighting a slayer assignment with slayer mask, super strength pot and piety on for some fun..nothing like dropping 80+ damage on an npc (depending on your strength level of course). Oh yeah and by the way, if you are going to have to wipe out your entire bank account to get it, I say nay, no matter how much fun it might be. meb
It's not imo. I just sold mine again because it has no good use. Unless you solo Bandos a lot I would save for a 'higher' GS. Without 79 Summoning meleeing sara is too painful, and you'd be better off with a zgs there anyway. And group Bandos trips are too crowded to do unless you're max melee with AGS and void. Godswords have little use outside of GWD. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
