Maybe it actually says something like: The eyes of Glough of The Guardian(grand) Tree land was silly, no gnome but Glough have gone to the Stone City guards.

Thus meaning Glough wasn't a part of Arposandra from the start but found them, got his memory tampered with and was sent back. But they sent the "cute" creatures with him to keep an eye out so he wouldn't tell any1 if he smehow got his memory back, but that sending the creatures proved unneccessary.

Therefore, when Seren was forced to leave this world because of the Edicts of Guthix, she locked the Library with nine seals.

This has been bugging me for a while. Did all of the gods really have to leave because of the Guthixian Edicts? The devourer still interferes directly with Gielinor, as she is Summona, so unless when she fell from being Ichtlarin(yeah, I'm not going to get the spelling for that) she stopped being a god, that means that the Edicts didn't affect her.

Maybe the temple from mourning's end part 2 that underground city?

No, that temple was the temple for the death altar.

My skin is finally getting soft
I'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

It's very simple actually. She is a risk taker. Guthix won't do anything while he is asleep. She is gambling that she can still interfere and nothing will happen. Although I don't recall her fighting you directly.

Let's hope the new dwarf quests give us the answer we seek :P

Beware, they will use lolcats :o

I'm looking forward to them revealing another chunk of Runescape, not like it can get much bigger (we've nearly reached the ends of the map. Who knows, in a future quest they may reveal a completely different continent
