I have a huge respect for Iso, its really a lotta fun to find all the lil details and quirks Imo. I was planning one myself, but its been delayed since school started :?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I dont mind McD as much as everyone else, plus, its a quick fix (and they arent paying you to have it there either :roll: ) to change it to anything else in the world...

Im not gonna add any people in yet cus ill probably have to figure out the right sizes for the city first, wouldnt want something to be twice as big as you'd see in rl :wink: .. for people who thought the sign meant that the shop was a mcd's maybe without it you can see that its my shop :o !! Only a small time buissiness shop cus im not the best pixeler out der :). I fixed the parking (disabled is wider for more space), added a rippers prison and started adding 'run down shops' down the rune village road..

Another major thing is im tryin to make the windows look see-through, I worked for ages doing that so I hope it looks real enough 8), the skylight thingie took a while cus its very fidgetly.

Awesome, I love the soft colours you have going, works perfectly, it doesn't look so shiny and bright as Iso tends to look.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm not sure on the length of the parking lots, since you said two tiles, and I thought you meant length? Then the parking spaces are too big.

well thats how I figured the sizes to be, kinda like typical isometric cities you know? but theyre really the max sizes id want them to be, like the biggest of cars would look that big and the tallest of men looked like that :?.. Ive not started any characters so please stop me if the sizes look too bad. heh theres a first time for everything and, yeh, my first isometric anythin...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i was hoping of drawing certain types of cars, not rubbish ones like in that pic above ^^^, so remember im gonna make the cars and people smaller than that. looking at this test im definately gonna look at changing the sizes of people and cars aswell as the door sizes and parking spots 8). if at first you dont succeed try try again :D .. 'cheesy alert'

Some of the chars look a lil tall(plus, all the same size=no depth, but you knew that) specially the one standing by the door, cars look ok size wize, but all the same(lol, i know itll get more detailed, so im apologizing at the same time)

It's all current shops AUcoria. So no probably not since yours no longer exists.

well im not using them ya see, theyre only stupid test characters cus I would never in a million years use characters that looked like that.. Its a bit weird that your deconstructing the test characters cus as I said they took a few seconds to do and were just copied and pasted around the city so I could see if the sizes would look ok, in an isometric city the sizes are the same everywhere so theres no 'getting further away' and so everything is basically in one view sizes.

thats what they usually tend to look like but I figured it would be sweet to apapt it to my own style, yeh the actual characters on my will definately be smaller they the test characters.

That's really cool nice coloring an shading, i find that type of art too hard as i can never seem to get the angles right but hey i stink at pixels anyway.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So i have a suggestion if your going for a runescapish theme though it seems more like a forum community theme i just have to see a guy in hobo clothes leaning on a lamp post with a cardboard sign that says money, but then again its ot my pixel but im trying to give you an idea so it looks better but who am i in this community??

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

on your recent update with the white people cars and and all those othe experimental things i must say yes the people are too tall and of course do make the cars different shapes, like minivans, S.U.V's and of course the sedans that the average joe would drive.
