Syco
I thought of a clan idea, that, despite probably being thought of before, I would like to post here. A clan with no ranks except for a leader and war leader? Many problems within a clan are caused by issues that have to do with the staff. Power struggle, power abuse, and other issues could all be eliminated with the elimination of a staff. Your opinions?
Gamerr
And who would do the handling of applications, events, votings, ... then? If it's all the members job it will be or chaotic or you'll create a hierarchy anyway.
Kimberly
My opinion would be that lots of smaller clans implement this very same principle.
Enzock
There's just too much to be done in a clan if it's of a medium-to-large size for just 2 people to keep up with it all. That's why people delegate. Issues come when the higher ranks don't have respect or authority within the clan - if you ensure that is kept then you can still have control without having to do every menial task yourself. obfuscator
The reason that many clans have so many ranks is simple; there is usually far too much work to be done by only 2 staff. At the same time, I find that many clans have more staff then is necessary. When this happens it can lead to staff not being given the respect they deserve. mrmyk
Communism, but in a clan. I'd say no, we all know how that turned out in real life. ;) Proud Retired Council of The GladiatiorzClick here for our website - 110+ F2P Combat Requirements

Beckingham
Seems to me you'd also have trouble getting recruits. One of the things that attracts people to clans is the chance to advance in prestige and become a respected member of a clan. The ranking system is a good way to recognize excellence in a clan, it's also invaluable when it comes to fall in leaders.
