As long as it's not against the rules, for the moment it's the only literature thread I'll be posting. ;) Hubris is Hitler's birth right up until 1936. I haven't even tried to read it. Nemesis is 1936-1945 and an absolutely brilliant book, detailing the "ceaseless radicalization" the Nazi party imposed and exactly how things got rolling in Europe for WW2. You can't create a demand for book threads by spamming like 12 of them. I count one. Do you have some sort of brain dysfunction? [English translation needed]

He did write a few books tho? he did write one that i know of. mine kenff, not sure how the exact spelling is. he wrote it when he was in prisson for his first failed attempt to gain power and is just a collection of his ideas regarding his view of what germany and the nazi party should be. The book's original name in German was going to be Viereinhalb Jahre des Kampfes gegen Lüge, Dummheit und Feigheit, which means 4 and a half-year of fighting (or struggling, as they prefer it in English) again Lies, Stupidity and Cowardice, but he changed it to Mein Kampf. He indeed wrote it in prison, and it was published in 1925.

In 'Fight' I think of a chance to overcome, like 'I can still win this' While 'Struggle' I think of being bullies and put down, without alot of resources to overcome and a dying chance. April 8, 200917 yr Bouwzie is completely right. If i were to translate the title, i too would choose My Fight. Of course, My Struggle, would work in the way of his difficult childhood and being rejected as a painter, as well as other areas too. I am currently reading volume 1, swedish translation (got the 2nd one aswell). I haven't been able to read much yet tho, been quite busy. And i have heard that Max Amman, the head of the publishing, is the one to have suggested Mein Kampf as a title.
