Yet in this forum and many other gaming forums people dislike the Wii for whatever reason, and that is apparently because its not a real gaming console and doesnt have the graphics or memory standards like the Xbox or a PS3.

 

 

 

Well time and time again the third party offerings seem to suggest that the Wii is not a real, good, gaming console. I mean if they want to be taken seriously third party providers need to step it up and stop making excuses.

 

 

 

The wii has USB and SD ports yet we dont get games like that. :| People dont think.

Thing is though not everybody has an SD card. With the proper consoles you know everyone's got a HD apart from 360 arcade/core owners, who probably wouldn't have live anyway.

And yea, you're right - not everyone has an SD card, but they arent expensive. Nor is the idea of sending a game out with a small-ish (say 1GB) SD card which is like 8 dollars australian.

Because its not a failure and I never said it should have HD I just said it should have downloadable addons. Like packs for PS3/Xbox360/PC versions of certain games. (CoD4/5 Map packs etc)

I bought the conduit today, and try to play regional because I dont want massive lag.

 

So I try regional and I am sitting in the lobby for like 10 minutes.

 

you cant leave the lobby, so I reset the game.

 

 

 

Then I go into worldwide, and there is a literal 1 minute + lag, example being, I shot a guy in the head with a shotgun and the chest with a shotgun about 4 times, it took over a minute for it to 'register' I killed him.

 

And every [bleep]ing person is skipping from 1st story to 2nd story from 10 metres left of me to 20 metres right of me.

 

 

 

Fail.

Yeah but it isnt as bad on CoD5, and The Conduit is reported to have great Wii online, whereas CoD5 is average...

I think Medal of Honour Heroes is supposed to have the best online. Not that thats saying much.

Honestly I would've said the same thing. And you ALWAYS complain about CoD lagging.

 

 

 

There are always little 20 second patches of lag in CoD5, like once a game, thats it. And usually I'm unlucky and in the middle of a rush when it happens.

 

 

 

Nothing in comparison to 12 minutes - 20 minutes of people teleporting 30 metres at once.

Well, the game doesnt suck and its actually smart, but the weapon choice system is dumb.

 

It's either explosives or whichever one has the shotgun in it.

 

Shotgun = ASAP death in the FOOT

 

Explosives = noskill.

To fight off a shotgunner, kill them before they walk right up to you... :roll:

 

Explosives take plenty of skill. Do you just say things take no skill when you aren't good at them?

for some reason Shotguns seem to hit from pretty far away, and the map sizes dont compensate for the amount of people I get piled by in regional when online decides to not lag me like a [bleep].

 

And ROFL. Explosives? Skill? Dude. These are the equivilants of Rifle grenades and whatever Halo's rocket thing is. No skill involved. Just pressing 'b'...

 

 

 

I actually think everything is quite equal except for explosives.

 

The pistol is nice and SMGs do what they are meant to do.

Spoken by someone who has probably had negative kills every time he played explosives. The thing you don't seem to get is that when everyone has the same weapons, the playing field is even. This was designed to avoid complainers like you, except apparently an even playing field still is too hard for you to work with.

Yeah if it's being used and not letting another weapon have a chance, it's actually broken, since people use it more than the others because it takes little skill and kills in 1 shot.

And no, I am still getting used to the dynamics and whatnot from CoD5 to The Conduit. Playing both at the same time is pretty hard since they have similar buttons, but then some key ones are mixed. I also think my controllers are slightly broken so grenades and the like dont come out unless i mentally shake the nunchuck.

 

Not to mention the fact that the Radar is always on. I have silly lag, and I have only done like 20% of the story mode =.=
