About how many charms per hour could I expect at Waterfiends with my levels? Should I attempt them with my levels?

Attempt; yes. With Z spear, karils, and wizard boots.

I hated powering waterfiends, you want the hydra right? I would combine, powering waterfiends, with tormented demons (for money), and bursting rock lobsters. Maybe some slayer/skills if you get bored.

 

 

 

Use all penguin points on summoning. Do all diaries and use them on summoning.

 

 

 

I don't track rates. Just go, they are the best for your stats.

I get about 120 per hour with maxed melee, void, and piety. You might expect 70-80, since you don't have 68 summoning, among other things.

Make sure to bring scrolls to eat the raw food it drops. You might want to train cooking to 80 so you can eat the sharks it drops. 8-)

when u safspot they can't hit u

 

 

 

They use range and mage right? So wouldn't that mean as long as you can hit them they can hit you? I mean, if there's a gate between you two, and you're flinging arrows at it, nothing's stopping it from ranging or maging you back. Safespots only protect against melee combat.

Once they become non agressive, you can trap them on the pile of rocks (west side of the river). Since their range is so small, you can shoot them with a crossbow or what have you.

iv hard that they have high mage def and maging tehre would probaly be terrible but ranging with high acuracy should work a litle bit

 

 

 

Certainly wouldn't work as well as melee, and yes mage is very bad at waterfiends.

 

 

 

Considering that the *only* advantage ranging has over melee in normal circumstances is the fact that you don't get hit, banking is so quick that ranging waterfiends is a worthless strategy.

 

 

 

As everyone else has said, melee them.
