Pretty fascinating, assuming you didn't exaggerate anything.

Could it be explained by cold reading? Did she tell you your past right out of the gate, or did she slowly build it up through a series of questions? An adept cold reader can pick up an incredible amount of detail and make it seem convincing.

Fraid only time I talked was when she ask me if I was born here and when I said my name and age. I think that's the only time I talked but after I said my name she got into that state of trance and then said I was premature and that my parents worried about me etc. I didn't even say anything about my birth. Then she said that I was in an accident, involving a car. I corrected her saying truck. That's about it I think.

Damn it's 1:12 I wanna sleep.

Wongton is better than me in anyway~~

Would she begin with broad and open-ended statements before narrowing them down after occasional pauses (perhaps to pick up on your body language)? Was it anything like the cold reader in the youtube video I posted?

If both answers are a no, then I'd have to say this certainly is an interesting story.

I'm not accusing you of dishonesty, but if something like that happened to me I doubt I would remember it very well. So you might have actually given her more clues allowing her to cold read (either by speaking or just even body language) than you remembered. I know these seems a little unlikely given that you seem to remember it fairly well. But the alternative, that psychic(s) exist despite years of unsuccessful experiment seems les likely.

Pretty cool... but as you just revealed, your original post was a slight fabrication. I would say that most people are involved in some sort of vehicle related accident, not only that, but she didn't even guess truck - you had to tell her that.

I will say there's more than the standard 5 senses... I'm skeptical when it comes to the paranormal but you can't deny the existence of intuition and "gut feelings" I've learned are generally right.

That said, I'd be interested in seeing if a psychic could figure me out. If so I'd believe...

OH S***! He/she/it is back!

fixed that, I believe its been proven that your first instinct on a multi choice test is more accurate then the odds of picking the right answer at random.

I think I might have given her clues with my body language (anytime I freaked out I clutched my hands alittle) but she got it correct that I was a homosexual. There wasn't even a hint of homosexuality on me. When she told me the name of my friend who died she guessed the name right out of the blue. Diego is a common name but there are so many spanish common names and she did it on her first try she did not even do anything like *Jooodekdiieego. Diego, right?* she just said out of the blue, but she couldn't get the last name. Can't blame her even I have a hard time pronouncing it or spelling it (Txuhalt or something like that).

EDIT: I didn't see the youtube link sorry. She never had to ask me if she was correct, like the cold reading person in the video he kept on saying "Ya?" for assurance if he got it correct but she hardly every had to conform. She got it straight out. Like she knew I liked someone a cold reading person might ask this.

"Your heart aches for someone right?" but no she said it more like this

"There is something driving a hole in your soul, you love a man but you know you can't have him because he wishes for someone else, a girl a friend of yours or him"

Well then I'm not really sure what I can say. It's nothing personal, but I remain deeply skeptical of anecdotal evidence from anyone. I suppose it remains a puzzling and interesting case. I'm not surprised you were impressed if she figured that out.
