On knowledge base it says that Sacred clay were probably used by gods themself to create the creatures...

So Sacred clay must be very old, so what god is as old as Guthix?

Zaros (He had werewolf, pyrefiend in his command before), and Bandos followers are just stupid. So i suspect Bandos dieing soon.

I think they're just loony cultist kooks, not part of some god's big sinister plot.

Whatever god they may be manupilated by, if they are not then they are the most stupid npcs in whole Runescape.

Worshiping "spirits" who slaughter everyone, and talking about war like it's a lovely thing...

Yes, hence "loony cultist kooks."

I thought Zaros and and Seren were some of those elder gods guthix mentioned in meeting history. (Mind you I don't think Zaros and Seren are the only ones)

I went to places which had traces of Zaros and his religion as well looked at Stealing creation camp and found perhaps something...

The so called "Mystics" have not been spelled, that's for sure. I am suspicious at the Head mystic though.

Every mystic follower looks at him as their master and leader. Of course why shouldn't they, but the Head mystic knows alot.

I am suspecting that Head mystic is the Mahjarrat Sliske. He is a Zaros follower. A thing about Zaros is that he is called "The empty lord", and Wilderness is empty and deserted. The stealing creation camp is located there.

Anyhow as for Sliske here is some information from Runescape wiki, it may be false but most stuff i have read from Runescape wiki has been true so i find it as a good source from time to time.

Notice what Azzanadra has said of Sliske (Azzanadra is the General of Zaros now that Zamorak betrayed him)

[hide=Mahjarrat Sliske (Runescape wik)]Sliske is a Mahjarrat loyal to Zaros who disappeared into hiding during the God Wars. Azzanadra describes him as "Sliske the serpent-tongued, who delves the shadows." Little is known of him.

Not much is known of Sliske's powers. He is known for "delving the shadows," though exactly what this means is unclear. Azzanadra has said of Sliske, "An ally he may be, but I did not become master of my Lord's legions without being sure of the powers wielded by those close to me. Sliske is one whose actions can be seen each and every day in the smallest of this world's details." He is thought to be the stranger in The Fall of Six who granted the Barrows brothers their abilities and reanimated their spirits;the stranger in the tale is described as "delving into the shadows at its [the camp's] edge".

edit Current and future activities

Sliske's current whereabouts are unknown; however, a passage in a recent letter from the Chaos Elemental seems to be referring to him: "That's where the shadows are shadowed, and even the delvers don't dare." The Chaos Elemental is known for hinting at future updates, so it's likely that the near future will reveal more about Sliske.[/hide]

Also in the Fall of the six (Barrow brothers), it is said that the barrow brothers will be part of Zaros upcoming army when he returns.

Anyhow i took screenshots of Zaros places, and here i will show you them. But first here is some stuff that a "stranger" (Supposedly Sliske) in the story "Fall of the six" have said:

[hide=The Pact, Fullfilled]The silent strangers message could be heard only in the brothers minds a raspy, conspiratorial whisper: The time has come, my warriors. The gifts I bestowed upon you have served you well, and you, in turn, have served your god. Now, it is time to begin your servitude to me...to my god. You shall stand ever vigilant for His return, and then you will be champions in His glorious army - we shall have victory against the usurper. But first, you must die...[/hide]

[hide=Ruination]For six days, the survivors dug up the earth and built crypts for the brothers; for six nights, their enemies surrounded the camp, chiding and braying, mocking the loss of their leaders, breaking their spirit but not attacking. The stranger took no joy from this he had no love for either side his involvement complete. On the last day, he watched the crypts being covered and the burial mounds completed, and the remnants of the brothers army turn their back on the dark to begin their long journey home. As they passed from view he turned, again walking deliberately and slowly towards the brothers, now dead and interred in their barrows.

Arms outstretched atop the central mound, the stranger chanted in some foul, ancient language, casting his old magic. A vulgar purple light formed in front of him, fell to the earth, and bled into each of the barrows.[/hide]

It seems Sliske is raising a army for Zaros, if what i have read is correct. By doing so he is perhaps trying to overtake the role as the general of Zaros, the role belonging to Azzanadra

I think you discovered something, maybe Zaros is actually the god of the houses? house portals are purple!

Don't mock what i have presented, i am fully aware house portals is purple...

In the story "Fall of the six" the stranger used a purple magic spell, now it's also stated that he is not on Saradomin's side and nor on Zamoraks.

When you teleport with Ancient magic, what colour is it? Purple

What colour is of Zaros symbol/Ancient staff (Elbis gives you staff, he got it probably from his lord Azzandra who is general of Zaros!)? Purple

As for Head mystic, he made the camp in wilderness, so question is how did that portal come from?

Magic....probably Zarosian.

EDIT:

As i was using Ancient magic teleport i stumbled into wilderness and had to use a Wilderness obelisk to get lower level so i could teleport on.

Then i stumble into this:

A Wilderness obelisk, and the obelisk uses ancient magics and this might be old but to me it is new. I never knew it used ancient magic, anyhow the obelisk is just next to Stealing creation minigame...

Portal.jpg

To many clues point at Zaros or a Zaros follower involved in Stealing creation. My bet is that Head mystic is Sliske

Hemen you are all missing something really big here. The wild was the Zarosian empire before the fall.

Nice i need to read more :P

the head mystic seems more like a puppet than anything else. it could be that he's being manipulated by a mahjarrat, but I don't think it goes beyond that. keep in mind that once a minigame is added, it's never removed (unless it's bounty hunter lol). whoever is responsible for the founding of stealing creation will probably never be revealed, as that would conclude the game.

Your main argument also seems to be that lots of Zarosian things are purple, and the portal to the realm is purple. That is pretty weak imo.

The obelisks were there well before the minigame as I'm sure you know. it's much more likely in my opinion that (although they may very well be powered by the magic of Zaros) jagex simply put SC near one for convenience sake.

I guess i overdid it on purple, but weak as it is , it might be true.

Anyhow i don't think the head mystic is puppet, he knows to much.

If you felt it necessary to delete my previous post because you were angry, then I don't think people really understand how to take a joke. You may as well delete the other post up there too, since he obviously is saying the same thing.

I'll post what I was thinking about earlier while inserting more words into the post (to flesh it out so that we would have something to discuss) when it got deleted.

Aside from the earlier point about all to most portals generally being purple....

It is fully within any Mahjarrat's ability to pose as a mystic leader in order to forward the plans of Zaros' return and such. There is no doubt that the whole establishment is mainly used for the purpose of constructing Zaros' army for his coming resurrection. To remind the ones who don't know, even though the God Wars was responsible for the real destruction that razed the wilderness and it happened after Zaros had left Gielinor, before then, his forces occupied the whole area, and part of the reason why it was destroyed so thoroughly was because afterwards everybody had been dead set on eradicating any form of Zaros' existence from the face of the planet. However, there was no chance of any of this plane's mortals ever defeating a Mahjarrat completely, so truthfully their efforts to rid the world of Zaros would have failed regardless of the player's repeated actions regarding the ressurection or freeing of many of them.

Regardless of who they came from, it seems quite clear that the revenants now belong only to destruction without feeling, and are servants of Zaros seeing as that is his dominion.

However, it is about as equally possible that Zaros has just manipulated a bunch of normal individuals into forming a cult since he has control over the slightest whims of most beings, seeing as his power is mainly the ability to twist the hearts of mortals to his will. A man can be made to think that he is lord of his domain, but in reality, the revenants lead him to this portal, and as previously stated, they are most likely under the control of Zaros.

That being said, it does seem awfully suspicious that the head mystic wears a blindfold and never includes why he does it in the process of explaining his beliefs, and it could be to hide his unhuman eyes.

You do make a good point that I didn't think about until now....when Sliske says that the barrows brothers should serve his god, most automatically assumed at that point that he was a normal, non-Mahjarrat necromancer who served Zamorak, but in reality he could very likely be a holdout for Zaros which is why he had no concern at all about sending them off to defeat the Zamorak forces so handily.

However, once again, I am not sure if it is the same Mahjarrat, or indeed any at all, that controls this operation.

I am quite grateful for the clay tools though. Really cuts down on the d-hide spending.

8f14270694.jpg

I was reading old post bags for information about Zaros so I could site my source that the wild was Zaros' land, I found it somewhere...

Anyway I found this:

but do not forget Sliske the serpent-tongued, who delves the shadows...
Now this probably doesn't mean that Sliske has a snakes tongue, but that he is good at lieing. Other than that the shadows could mean the wild. To delve means to carefully and thuroghly study something.

So Zaros disappeared before the god wars. The stealing creation site was set up to study sacred clay, which was used to build the world. The *unknown* 'holy ones' led them to the site in the wild, conveniently the old Zarosian empire. The wild once held the stone of jas (maybe even Zaros himself). Some mahjarrat who is good at leading people on is studing something very carefully in some unknown location.

The description kind of fits...

The "Holy Ones" aren't unknown. A minute of conversation with one of the mystics and you'll find out that it's their name for the revenants.

Unusual behavior for a revenant though, since normally they'd just fry any living being on sight.

I thought that was just your character guessing. Anyway it still hangs together. What type of creature would attack a mahjarrat willingly?

All the same, it's still equally as likely that Zaros has just led these poor suckers to the portal to serve him. The revenants wouldn't attack if they were directly under his command to not touch them.

I guess we can only wait and see. Perhaps play a game or two in the meanwhile?

Actually it's not at likely because I believe Zaros is still banned from the dimension.

No point arguing over little things like that though.

Well, he can't interfere himself, but like all the other gods, he is perfectly welcome to discreetly reach into this plane and push some pawns. I mean, all the cool deities are doing it.

8f14270694.jpg

I wouldn't count Bandos as a cool deity actually.

Ok just a few points.

1. I find it unlikely that stealing creation is a Zarosian plan as no followers of other Gods seem to care about it.

2. I don't believe Zaros currently has any influence in Geilinor. Instead I think his loyal mahjarrat carry out his will, the fact that the mahjarrat gave their loyalty to other gods after his fall makes it unlikely that he can interact with them directly. I believe that he may have foreseen, or even planned his own fall so that when the time was right he could rise again unsuspected and take the other gods by surprise.

3. I don't believe we have sufficient information to determine that Zaros is actually evil. We know Zamorak is, but who's to say he took the exact role that Zaros had previously played. The Mahjarrat seem less evil, and more like they all have a superiority complex. If they were simply evil it seems likely they would have all sided with Zamorak. Really we don't have any concrete evidence of what Zaros was all about other than his title the empty lord. This could simply suggest he was devoid of any emotion.

4. Throughout history(especially the dark ages) some orders of monks would ritualistically blind themselves as a sign of devotion to god, they would then bind their eyes with cloth, much as the mystic at stealing creation.

5. I can't wait for the resurrection! I want facts! (I also want to rise up as a champion of guthix and take him out if necessary)

(btw Zaros was not subject to the banishment that the other gods faced at the time of the god wars, he was kinda dead.)

Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. I wish he wouldn't leave that thing lying around. -.-
