Are the costume random events gone?

Ever since they changed the random event, I've gotten multiple random events but none where I could get a costume item. Did they remove those from the game altogether? Did they link them to specific activities?

You have to choose the save for costume option then go to varrock cloths store I believe.

Occasionally, you can pick a costume item out of the random event gift box you get.

I haven't seen that option. But I suppose you can only get a costume option for the random events that used to give you a costume too? I don't think I've had any of those.

In addition to this, some gift boxes will give you the choice of costume points, which can be exchanged for part of an outfit with Iffie at Thessalia's clothes shop in Varrock.

All i ever get is that one where you have to kill that pheasant or w/e, so no they haven't take them out

Nope, I have had a good few options for a apiece of random event armour etc They are often very low down, and if you do not scroll down, it is missable!

Just remember to scroll down when you open the gift box, cause there are several more options past the main rewards. :

You only get the option of the costume points if you done a random in which you can get the costume from before the update.
