Good progress?

Am i making good progress in range?

http://runetracker.org/track-Erebes99,5,2

is it slower/faster then average?

I have been training at tzhaar because they are easy to safespot and perty good money. Is there another good place other than aviansies?

Going by how I am getting exp aproximatley how long till i reach 99?

1.9m xp in a month? No, that's very slow. But that depends on how often you play. If you only play for a few hours during the weekends, well, then it ain't that bad.

And knowing you get 1.9m xp a month, it's quite easy to calculate how long you need to hit 99.

We're not all as pro as you Bauke :geek: So i wouldn't call it 'very slow' - it's certainly faster than what i could get

Nah its about 50k exp per hour at yaks meaning you have to train for 20 hours to get 1m exp.

Avainsies/Chinning average about 100k exp per hour if you use the money made from avis to chin.

How does tzhaar compare to yaks? Is there better training that atleast gives some drops and doesn't require boring quests?

Tzaar is much slower I'd guess at the 20k mark if not a bit lower. The drops are really random and could be used to fund chinning or use of a cannon.

Only if you like to. Would you rather keep your range tanker, or make it more of a main with sorta balanced stats? I like the way i have my character set up, and the only way to improve is to work on maxing my combat stats.

edit- does any one know what that -4w3d means on the monthly tracker on runetracker?

Just curious but does anybody have exp rates of moss, ice, fire giant and ogres?

Cannon ice trolls. You'll profit and you get very good xp (beats Yaks, at least).

Just set up your cannon, get ranged gear, pray melee, and bring your Wooden Fremmy shield and you are set. There's a guide on Truthscape. I recommend it.

I know of this but id rather not train prayer.

Ah.

Then cannon fire giants. You set the cannon in the middle of the melee room at Waterfall, let it rip, then go to the safespot by the door. The cannon acts like multicombat, and you get decent ranged xp. The drops don't cover it as well as Trolls, but it's still decent.

Using the same technique, you can cannon Mountain Trolls. Just hide in a safespot.

Is waterfall long or hard? and what is decent ranged exp? do I not actually range the fire giants?

Gee, it's been a while. I don't remember it being long or hard. Hardest part is running past a few level 84 moss giants without armor.

I think you can get about 60k cannoning fire giants/ice trolls/mountain trolls. Ice trolls are the only one that consistently profit, however.

You don't HAVE to ranged them when you're in a safespot. You can alch, fletch, w/e. But if you DO, you get extra xp, and it can't hurt you. Since you're after xp, range in a safespot. As long as you aren't being hit, your cannon will treat the area as multicombat.

K, so i wont lose much money and can get over 60k an hour :) yay and can i not pickup bolts? should i use cheap ones or countinue to use mith? And they drop mainly golds right? Would cannoning mountain trolls or fire giants be better exp/gp?
