I dont understand whats going on, I dont think it's my java because noone has had to download a new java for 5 months (i've been away 3), I dont think its my computer, I have no viruses.

RuneScape client will probably make little difference since it's just a cut down version of internet explorer. Try reinstalling Java and deleting the JaGex cache (It's found in C:\WINDOWS, just delete the .jagex_cache_32 folder).

I know that Java 6u10 and 6u13 work though, that's the versions I have on my computers.
