Range training - cost efficient?

Featured Replies

i really find ranging boring just because the damage i do at the moment is soo low. Any help is appreciated!

You can train on the caged ogres at the Combat training camp near Ardounge, just bring the best d'hide you can wear, snake skin boots, ava's attractor or higher, ranger helm or higher and some bronze knifes/iron, i went from 60-70 there in about 2 days.

Hope this helps!

Yes, slayer is also a great way to train combat.

Trust me, when you get a high level in ranged you'll never want to use melee again.

Aviansies once you hit 70; and possibly before that.

Agreed, range owns in P2P. Better moneymaker, can be trained faster (chins), better in PvP.

Don't use grey chins. Go range things on slayer tasks for fun and profit.

ogres are a good bet, theres a couple of spots like the training grounds above ardougne and under the chaos druid tower you can safespot nicely. you can also save and sell the big bones or get a little prayer xp while there.

failing that for speed id use yaks and knives. low defence and rapid kills :D just costs more

well the only things that's bad. yaks are always packed with people which makes it worse xp then it possibly could be.

Thank god you didnt buy chins. You shouldnt use grey chins until 80 and reds til 85 apparently.

Anywho, Soul wars is apparently good for grinding. Beating yaks just barely.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

kk if you wanna get 60 to 70 range just train something easy that barely hits, i ushually train fire giants cause good xp, and DONT use iron knives, their a waist of cash. bronze are just as good. and pot if you can makes it go much faster.
