May 9, 200917 yr If there is an altar right there, and you only need a restore:brew ratio of 3, why do the guide's I've read say to bring so many super restore potions? Tip.it's guide, the 'ultimate gwd guide' and the 'gwd for 120+ players' guides in the AoW all seem to bring way too many, what am I missing? quit
May 9, 200917 yr You can't pray at the altar while in combat. Also, I believe you can only pray at it every so often, so you can't just keep using it to keep prayer full. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.
May 9, 200917 yr The longer you stay, the more Restores you need. If you have a Unicorn... [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
May 9, 200917 yr Maybe they barely take damage and barely have to heal,so they obviously need more prayer.. The altar can only be used once every 10 minutes.
May 9, 200917 yr More like they use different methods to heal besides brewing. Titans, unicorns, fruit bats, guthans, and they use brews for emergency healing. What?
May 9, 200917 yr You barely get hit at sara GWD; a 3:1 ratio would be a waste since you'd run out of restores long, long before you ran out of brews. With a good healer (fruit bat or unicorn) you don't need any food at all. With rests now at 13k (I think) I'd just bring a few prayer pots instead. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
