nerdboyxxx
I will be, in the future, getting this gear, once I hit 70 att str and def. Just wondering if it is a good setup :) I am tight on money only have 800K to spend, which I dont really want to use atm (saving up for later training). Head: Helm of Neitiznot Necklace: Amulet of Glory (can't afford fury) Chest: Fighter Torso Legs: D legs Boots: D boots Ring: Warrior Ring (can't afford berserker) Gloves: Currently Rune Gauntlets (If you can suggest anything better I'd be very greatful :)) Cape: Skillcape (getting 99 fletching and strength soon). Weapon: Dragon Scimi Shield: Rune Defender I have not got all the gear yet, I currently have d legs, d boots, amulet of glory, rune gauntlets (please, Im looking for something better here), and I can easily get d scimi. I am going to get the fighter torso, rune defender, and complete monkey madness very soon (so I can use a d scim), and Frem Isles (so I can use helm of neitiznot). If you are going to suggest anything, please keep im mind I am on a tight budget here, I am saving up so I can train other skills like prayer, magic, and range if I lose a lot of knives. I will also be training Summoning, which will cost me about 5M to get to my desired level. Thank you for all help or advice given :) if you want me to post up my current gear please ask and I will. nerdboyxxx
Thanks :) I might do a couple of green drag runs to get some cash to buy them. I will probably work my way up to barrows gloves, but the quest seems hard and out of my range. Ill work on it though :)

Johannas
Head: Helm of Neitiznot Necklace: Amulet of Glory Chest: Fighter Torso (Use this against low defence monsters, you might want to stick with a rune plate/rock shell plate for harder monsters as you will benefit from the extra defence - a better options would be barrows (ie torags plate) which is cheap, if you get 70 defence) Legs: D legs (Barrows would be better) Boots: D boots Ring: Warrior Ring Gloves: Currently Rune Gauntlets (Next step up would be RFD gloves - switch when you can) Cape: Skillcape Weapon: Dragon Scimi (Try to get a whip to train attack) Shield: Rune Defender Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig! And a whip is out of my price range atm. But if I get more cash anytime soon definitely try some of these :)

Thanks for the feedback  was gonna say this until i read it, sell d legs and you'll have enough for some barrows Can't afford barrows atm, keeping it in good condition without it degrading too much will cost me too much. Cptbaker08
The Barrows armour doesnt degrade for 15 hours i believe. And to repair a body and legs cost about 170k if at 0%. You can easily make the 170k in 15 hours of anything really. Also killing dragons will get you enough money to pay for the repair costs in a few trips. PlzPuddngPlz
That is good armour, much better than what I had when I was training to 70. Sig by me, in MS paint, but I'm still working on it. I hope you know that while the armor degrades the stats always stay the same. Nothing changes to the set until it reaches 0%, at 0% it'll break and you won't be able to use it until you repair. Inuashakent
Barrows top and bottom = ~3-5k per hour of training. That's it. (With house repairs) Get a fury, DHAROK'S TOP (torso = complete garbage), Verac's skirt, Barrows gloves, Fire cape, WHIP. He has 800k to spend, fury is 1.6mil, dh. top is 177k, V. skirt is 422k, barrows gloves and fire cape require large amounts of money to have access to, and a whip is 1.4m. Quick math! 1600000+ 177000+ 422000+ 1400000=3599000, or 3.6 mil, your choice, a bit above the 800k spending limit, not counting the fire cape and barrows gloves because there are too many variables.
