Dracion1
Have you updated your graphics drivers + browser to the latest version? "In the beginning, the universe was created. aspokaspofkjsopfkapo
I 'have the most up to date version of Java', unless I am updating it incorrectly. let me repeat, uninstall java, then reinstall it. Also try the jagex runescape client and (if you're not using it), firefox or opera.

Dracion1
Having thought about it, it might be because it's only an integrated chipset. Might be having problems running HD. Did you try updating the drivers? Did.... Did you give drug to your graphic card? Siggied, thanks :D "In the beginning, the universe was created. Charr
Well, it used to work without problems. I am updating drivers through the control panel. Is that correct?
Dracion1
That's a bit of a long winded way of doing it. The best way is just to go the ATI website and they should provide you with an installer relevant for your card and OS. Personally I'd avoid getting the catalyst software, when I used it with my old ATI card it gave me nothing but problems; just get the drivers. "In the beginning, the universe was created. Sbrideau
You shouldn't get the drivers from Microsoft (control panel as you say) since they are most of the time outdated. It is better to get the updated drivers from the website of the manufacturer of the computer if it's a prebuilt, or from the websites of the part's manufacturers if it's a built computer. Charr
I downloaded and installed the drivers, however still no luck. :\ Would buying a new graphics card solve it?

Dracion1
Depends, though I'd say that's quite an extreme measure. Do other games work fine or is the problem confined to RS? OldJoe
Which XPRESS chipset is it? Right click on desktop - properties - settings - screen (ATI *hum hum*) I've tried RSHD with 200 series, it worked, laggy, but worked. Charr
The problem is restricted to RS, although I don't play many other games that require graphics as high as RS HD.
aspokaspofkjsopfkapo
If you havn't done it yet then try deleting the jagex cache which is located at c:>windows>.jagex_cache_32.
