I was just wondering which of these skills is better because each has its own pro's and con's.

 

 

 

Cooking:

 

Pro's:

 

Cape looks cool untrimmed

 

easy to come up with a good outfit for the cape

 

Con's:

 

costs alot of money with no money made back(pure loss)

 

 

 

Fletching;

 

Pro's:

 

Cape is awsome looking untrimmed or trimmed

 

you make money from 70 to 99

 

Con's:

 

takes longer than cooking to get 99

You dont really make money from fletching but go with it since cooking can be trained in f2p

What you want is an easy skillcape. Go with Fishing, its 81. And "good" .

i dont have the ultimate patience for fishing so when i do start ill have to keep myself from doing anything else..plus im going to be doing monks all the way to 99 and thats around 90k monks but 31m in the end...i want to get another 99 before so when i do get 99 fishing it will be trimmed. i've narrowed it down to these 2 because their the fastest and or cheapest of the other 99 skills i could get.

But you can AFK fishing.

The point there was not to fish sharks to train fishing, but to cook sharks to train cooking.

 

And I wouldn't recommend going for either. They just look nooby as a first 99. No offense.

Honestly, neither. When I see a fletching or cooking skillcape I just see "I bored myself grinding for a 99 simply to get a skillcape and have no intent on actually applying the skill." I respect someone more without it.

Thieving is just as fast as Cooking and Fletching, and will gain your more money, as well as be a more rare cape and give more respect.

99 fishing is meant to be by monkfish

 

99 cooking is meant to be by sharks.

Sharks are horrible to catch, but great to cook. If you cook fish that you catch yourself, your fishing will suffer because you'll fish sharks, or your cooking will suffer because you fish something that's not a shark.

Kent, I think people are over the "efficiency" now-a-days, even though its "heaps better", not everyone can stay at the same place paying attention every 3 seconds to make money for 2 hours.

 

So monkfish are best for people who just cant do that - both fishing and cooking.
