I hate it when you want to eat because the idea of a certain food sounds good.. but you're not really hungry.

So, once Tripsis stops checking regularly, we start posting scantily clad wimmens and other almost but not quite allowed images again, agreed?

Who says I'll stop checking??

Time. EVERYONE DIES EVENTUALLY.

On a more srs note, Trip, I'm still working on drawing. Any pointers? Especially when dealing with coloring/lining my sketches on the computer?

Pointers on drawing is extremely vague :P Knowing what you're drawing might be helpful too. But in general, if going for realism, you'll want photographic (or life) references. It's important to draw what you see, not what you think you see. There are plenty of tutorials online that help with anatomy, perspective, colour theory, etc. Read them, look at photos, practice, practice some more, then practice some more. Doing some research and reading some materials is good and beneficial, but you'll make the most progress through looking at photographs (or real life) and just practicing.

Thanks for the tips, but I'm planning to do more of cartooning than actual art. I'm mostly dealing with "do I fight with GIMP to get this picture colored and looking pretty, or do I fight with Paint.net, or do I fight with Photoshop, etc."

And so far, I haven't been able to find a single decent tutorial for any of them. Granted, most of what I've done has been Googling, but... the best I've found is the GIMP basic tutorials. which is like "here's how to layer and select stuff. We aren't gonna tell you what ANY of the coloring tools do, lulz." Either that or I'm just ignorant and stuff.

Well I can only give you advice on Photoshop, as that's what I use :P I would recommend deviantART for tutorials. Like here is an entire section for GIMP digital drawing/painting tutorials: http://browse.deviantart.com/resources/tutorials/digiart/dpadigi/thegimp/

If you have Photoshop already - use that. If not, it's probably best to use GIMP for now, at least until you decide whether or not it's something you want to continue.

I'm sort of agreeing with your mood though. Life is being annoying lately.

I'ma head out, bye Ben.

Bye Dax.

Edit: Reading back through the pre-3K pages that I missed, I noticed you guys thought I was the one that reported stuff to the mods. :( I wasn't though. I'm very okay with nearly-nekkid ladies, and I'm hardly going to be bothered by my name being edited into a manga.

And Tyler didn't scare me off, nor did I say I hated it here. I was simply respecting the fact that butting in and potentially stealing the pageget as a newbie would be annoying.

I think ya'll are cool, though I tend to only be on here when everyone else isn't.

i love you ben

*hugs been*

The once was a mexican called pepsi,

Or maybe it's just he had Hep C,

He was a pretty cool bro,

Bros generally are you know,

He hailed from the land of 'taters,

He was known to hate many-a-hater,

He likes a girl named Lacey,

His thoughts about her are kind of racy,

And also his dad likes to [rooster].

Nah, everyone knew it was me Ben.

My skin is finally getting soft
I'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

I didn't think it was you, ben, I thought it was nexarudo tbh.
