The only part about being "dirty" that bothers me is having greasy hair in my face, but if I wear it in a ponytail all the time, that doesn't matter. Thoughts? Actually, not taking bathes and keeping your hair in a ponytail is a bad combination, since it doesn't let air get to your scalp, so you're bound to get a layer of solidified sweat, grease and dandruff. blaah Posted May 17, 2011 Share Posted May 17, 2011 I don't shower every day because it'd be a major bother since I have like two feet of hair on my head and I hate to shower without washing my hair. I can barely get myself to go without shaving my legs every time I take a bath, but that doesn't matter now, I'll shave every other day since my legs will start showing during this lovely warm weather. During the peak of winter I was going about a week each time and it was gross, I tried a week and a half once and I hated it. I found it interesting enough to try it. the reason I even became interested in the first place was because I was thinking of my dream house, and having a huge bath tub etc.. and then i was wondering about reusing the water to water plants etc.. and there are systems in place that use "gray water"... however i wondered about using a plant safe soap or not using soap at all. and got into an argument with robot who found my idea of not using soap silly.. so i googled it and came across those links. and i've since tried not using soap all over my body (meaning I still use it sometimes if I'm really dirty and actually need to use soap to get rid of dirt).. but it seems that using soap is really just to soften the water and act as a scrubbing thing to get rid of dirt! so not using soap... well as long as the water is "soft" enough it's usually fine.[/hide] It's a personal preference I suppose, but society may not take it well. Two months from today (May 16) I will be 18 years old, and three months from today I'll be moving into my dorm.lucky you.. to know what you want to be at such a young age. Women like when you bathe(so I'm told), as do employers.It increases your chances of getting sick if you don't, so I'd suggest pumping yourself full of Vitamin C if you go that route.Personally I find bathing/showering relaxing. Otherwise, go for it.I do like men that shower.. I love being near guys just after they've finished showering and dried themselves and put on some clothes... no heavy perfumes or stuff like that.. and i have been in the position of being in close contact with a bunch of guys that have just finished showering... of course there were a bunch of girls near me so it wasn't that enjoyable... but i prefer clean people to dirty people. Zoe, do you prefer guys who shower?every girl does. I prefer to be around people who shower, yes, especially if I'm in very close vicinity to them for extended periods of time. Really, can't you guys hear it in a person's voice when they're smiling? I know I mix up the words blind and deaf because I did it once when I was tired and can't get past it, but I'm serious. I can hear people smile over the phone or in songs or whatever. For example, the song "Bow Chicka Wow Wow" by Mike Posner, I hear that he smiles while he's singing. And I saw it in AHH WHAT BOOK hmm... That war one I read, WWII, Billy Pilgrim... Oh no, Slaughterhouse-Five wasn't it, it was a book I was reading outside of school that only teen girls would read. But seriously. I'm not the only one.at my previous job, we were told to smile when answering the phone as it'd help. ... I didnt pay much attention to people smiling until this past year, and now I am aware of expressions quite often. I hear people smile when I talk to them on the phone. I tell people to smile to lighten up if I care to alter their moods. "You're missing something." "What?" (obnoxiously) "YO SMILE!" It works, for reals.yes it does. Lol.i laughed.
