So today I discovered that my mom and i probably would not have existed if my grandmother had not got on the wrong bus one day.

 

My great grandmother would have been fired, but for that they had to send a letter to the capital from another province where she was working to make it official. Because of a terrorist strike, the letter never got to where it was going, she was never fired, she retired at 40 and was payed a penson for 60 years until she died last year. That pension was like 3 times higher than most pensions nowadays.

 

She lived a pretty boss life, travelled literally all over the world, and much other stuff she wouldn't have had if she had been fired.
