You should be able to start specializing sooner than college tbh. It sucks being in remedial English classes

That's why I listed job training, because I realize that college still gives some general instruction. They prepare you for a field, not for a job.

You can specialize insofar as you can choose the classes you take in high school, you can choose to be more of a math or science student than an art or english student, but high school can't allow you to just skip out on the classes which very much have an impact on what you do with the rest of your life.

I would like to start specializing in a career.

But it would be something involving games or cooking.

Have people take a yearly test or something, if they fail, they take whatever course they failed in.
