Hm.. last time I had any actual calculations to do like this was like 2 years ago, but.....

 

For every 1 mole of oxygen, there's 2 moles of hydrogen.

 

Mole = mass/molar mass, thus 4.35g/18.016g/mol = .24145 moles of H2O.

 

1 mole of H2O:1 mole O, so moles of O is .24145

2 moles H:1 mole H2O, so .24145x2 = .4829 mol H.

 

I think I did it right.
