(evilkittyonline) do not look for a domain name if you want one unless you're going to buy it asap. there's reports of ISPs buying up domain names when people look for them, and then selling it for a profit.also the companies selling the domains might buy the domain name if you look to see if it's available, and then sell it to you for a higher price. so be very very careful, and only start looking when you have the monies to buy. also my domain name cost about 10$ but I think it'll cost more now.. I got it from domain.com I could have gotten the domain name for cheaper from a different source, but I'm glad I didn't, as I later found out that some of the cheaper places locked you into contracts and treat you really really badly. I've so far not found any problems with domain.com..... but then, I'm still a noob at this.
