Or at least that it's hard until you learn all the finger movements, then you can do it always and forever. At least that's what it is where I live.Fnope.All we do is just make beats that sound relevant to the song, we are on our own for the most part. Which is awesome, but sucks when people have conflicting opinions. @Ownage: What he said. Also it's nice if you can read percussion notes. which is the easiest thing in the world. We have band, then there are a few combos, and then there's Jazz band.In regular Band, everyone that signed up for band has to attend and play whatever instrument they want to play, no separate classes for separate instruments. Having some skill is good, but we also accept those that have none. Those have separate classes.Combos are on your own free time, but does not require band to be in, however it requires you to have a good amount of skill in your desired instrument.Jazz band is both free time and an activity period, 30min of doing something at the end of an A day. Jazz is a tier above the Combos, as they have to go against other schools in the Jazz fest/competitions, which they just won today.
