Racism still exists, and its entirely plausible that a number of black people are turned down for jobs/opportunities that are given to equally or even less qualified white people. I won't say that black peoples are being oppressed by white people, however I also won't say that they have equal opportunities, as I don't think that's true yet. Those folks need to grow up and see that their skin color is about a big a deal as how much snot they can fling out of their nose - everyone's different, and most people get really disgusted when you bring it up. It's just bad when they start isolating themselves more and more or placing themselves higher than others. They say that its different when they use it, however the black people who say that are racists. But I don't think they realise that racism is a two way street. However I also acknowledge the possibility that most of the black people who say the n-word is bad and that most of the black people who say the n-word all the time are two different groups, and the former could be as angry at the latter as they are at white people who use it, but I have been exposed to those who use the n-word but get angry at white people for using it in virtually the same context, and those people annoy me.
