I'm spineless. If I tried to do the same thing to someone, they'd laugh and ignore any further requests. The blanket. Must remind her nothing dirty (anymore? hopefully not) with the blanket. And I have to find a casual, non-offensive way to ask her if she's looking into birth control. I don't want to see her pregnant. I worry like her mother goose. I depend on her like a child.
