[hide=halp?] Two hours later Serenity and her mother sat in the waiting room at the hospital. They sat quietly, waiting for Joey to come out with his cast. The door swung open, and they looked up at the doctor. It was a pretty nasty break. The cast will have to stay on for the next six weeks, but he should be alright after that. He ushered Joey through to his parents, then turned and left.

 

How you feeling, big guy? Serenity asked.

 

I'm alright, he said, scratching at his cast. I'm sorry I stole your phone, Serenity.

 

It's okay. I shouldn't have gotten so angry.

 

I promise, I won't do it again.
