They really aren't that much better unless you have 88 summon. With 79 summon I find it to be about the same, except titan is more conveniant, but bird is still usable. Agreed. you only need to run for 2-3 squares to get out of her range then switch to walk(freaking love the HUD run toggle thing). Melee is much better than range in teams...but considering your levels i suppsoe range would be best for you. Forgot to look at your summoning level but you can live on unicorn scrolls alone(or bats, I'm told), and since you'll be ranging you should take an enchanted excalibur for an extra 20 hp/5 minutes. Sara is the best because the required supplies ae on the level of bandos supplies(aka nothing) and the rewards are worth more. If you have long dry streaks like me the increased supply costs at arma will greatly decrease your overall profit. Dry sara trips net you about 200k/hr-minus the supply costs, which are very little when you're meleeing. A dragon boots drop during the KC already pays for the entire trip.
