meb Posted June 9, 2009 Share Posted June 9, 2009 Is there a ranging equivalent of rock lobsters? I'm looking for good ranging xp with chins and a good batch of crimsons at the same time. If you have a suggestion please add the crimsons/hr. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. I honestly can't say the number per hour but the only problems you would have (killing them in ct tunnels of course) are the death spawns and gathering them up (non-agressive). You could also cannon + range black demons in Taverly, because frankly crimson collecting and ranging don't go together as good as melee or magic. Black demon cannoning in taverly is awesome exp and charms. There's a safespot, on the far western side. Just step inside the rock formation, have your cannon set up outside. It's around 100k range exp per hour, and 100+ crimson charms, for this reason it is my favourite slayer task. It's much slower exp than chinchompas and could be just as expensive per exp. The result wouldn't so much be a ranging equivalent as much as a melee equivalent. That's to say, that you'd get very little ranged xp compared to melee. It was a while ago, was mentioned in a patch note. Now the CT ones do have better drop rate, but thats only because they are in the CT. All ct monsters seem to have better charm droprates.
