Xehio
Can anybody tell me where I can train Firemaking effectively? My Fm level is now 67, but I'm going go train it until 99. so where can I do it fast (And not a crowded place). My data's: I'm P2P. I will be Using an Familiar. (Not anymore since everyone disagrees it's less effective.) So Summoning recharge spot nearby is an must and A bank near too. I use Maples. Xehio. * (EDIT) * How do I effectively get the 92K maples? Buying all of them isnt an option, because I dont have enough money. Xehio : 'Fisherman and Fighter'Goals:
Inuashakent
Don't use a pyrelord, use a tinderbox. The grand exchange is the best. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
Aslan
Oo'glog? It's empty most of the time and as Kent said don't use a pyrelord as it only gives you a bit more xp and it takes a lot of clicks/concentration.You are better off with burning a few extra k maples.Have fun. JGard
Don't use a pyrelord, use a tinderbox. The grand exchange is the best. Pyrelord is actually slower xp/h like he said, but I would suggest edgeville if you are going to use anyways, or Oo'glog like Aslan said, espeicaly since you specifically said non-crowded. Also if you are going to use edge run up and light beacen if/when you can, it is same xp per log for only 1 beacon but it does 20 logs or so at once. xmrwhitex
fishing colony - obelisk near hunter area. yanille - obelisk near the Gu'Tanoth As above i wouldnt recommend using the familiar thou. Just use flame ring \ gloves for a bonus. My personal fav is doing teaks at ape toll. Free logs and the WC'ers there love you because they dont have to drop. GL. Xmrwhitex. DarkX99
I suggest: Grand Exchange - Best place to firemake IMO. Port Phasmatys - Quiet, alternative to GE. Oo'glog - Also quiet, just as good as Port Phasmatys. Zarfot has a guide on Firemaking in Oo'glog on is channel. Also, don't use a Pyrelord. Very slow. Use Ring of Fire and Flame Gloves if you have them. 99 WC - 12/20/08! =D99 Defence - 6/19/09! 44,012 to reach it! Aiming for 2000 Total Lvl! xmrwhitex
Again why not do teaks. People will power woodcut them on ape toll and drop them. They will trade them to you for free and you can just burn them there are get another load. A handy way of getting maples is setting MTK to them. Sell the birds nests and seeds and keep the maples. Championfurydelta123
No Pyrelord... KingJD
definitely use MTK to get your maples.. Don't forget to play all fired up and get your xp boosting gear..
lordkafei
Oo'glog is deserted and has multiple long, straight east-west runs right outside a bank door. I burned assloads of logs there. pf1085
If you are fm'ing in GE or edge...don't forget to light a couple of the close-by beacons form some extra xp (and to break the monotony), you can use really cheap logs on these, it doesnt matter. Also, while there you can keep an eye out for evil trees, to get more fm xp. The free log banking comes in handy too for getting extra logs fast. Personally, I like to get cheap logs that cut quick, so i didn't have to waste time banking (saving the oaks for make-plank)
curmudgeony
Also good is to use a magpie pouch during firemaking, the items gathered from it pay for themselves and provide a healthy profit for "standing around"
the_korny
you can wear ava's accumulator too for steel arrows I've never seen Sixth Sense nor Inception nor many other popular movies and I intend to keep it that way.
DarkX99
To acquire your Maples: - Use MTK and put 10 Workers on Raw Fish and 5 on Maples. Use the Maples for Firemaking, sell the Fish and Nests, and use the money to buy more Maples. - I do not suggest cutting Maples EVER. Time can be used better with other methods to make money. 99 WC - 12/20/08! =D99 Defence - 6/19/09! 44,012 to reach it! Aiming for 2000 Total Lvl! IzzetGuildmage
Also, empty Fist of Guthix lobbies are perfect for firemaking.
