Quer has made a great edit, and a few of the things should be easy to fix and will come out with a much better result.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Abdomen area fix, part of forearm visible. Yours is too straight.

 

 

 

Chest fix, slopes inward and around his "breasts".

 

 

 

Cool designs -- simple so it doesn't get too busy, wish you'd have kept em (or something similar).

 

 

 

Your muscle needs a bit of work, QS fixed it a lot with the additional line.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Past that, I think the middle mountain should be nudged over to the left 2-4 pixels and you should work on your flesh tones and skin shading.

You make it sound like he's drawn the character with pink hair and green skin... I can only notice the difference between the stomach lines if I look closely. Infact, the puffed out chest almost gives him a somewhat cocky and authoritarian pose.

what you perhaps dont realise is that simple things can make big difference small can be big, david and goliath, the mouse who defeated the tiger.

I think it needs to be a little darker to be the wilderness considering it is set at the rune rocks. Those hills in the back look like sand dunes. :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think more dead trees and make the sky and hills darker would help. But it is very good like it is at the moment.
