question about runescape moderators?

Featured Replies

i want to be a moderator on runescape, cause i post about 50-60 times a day on forums just helping people "responding to other people threads" and i report in game rwt people and everything, how long would it take to get jagex attention doing this?

There is nothing you can actively do to become a p-mod quicker, just keep playing within the rules, reporting when needed etc, and they may choose you.

As jagex has stated on their website; You should be helpfull for being helpfull not to try become a pmod/fmod.

All you can do is avoid the rules, and play for a loooong time. Many players won't get a modship even before they've played 2 years

and beleive me "attention" from Jagex is something you'd rather not have ;) since mostly "attention" is not very positive

just stay good, be good & enjoy the game!

just obey the rules and continue being a good player, honestly you shouldnt try to become a mod.

As a mod I can speak to a little bit, and I think you are getting way overhyped about this. While the crown is nice its not like its that special. The whole point of modship is to help jagex enforce the rules, not create a new skill to get a cape/crown in.

Orthodoxy is unconciousness

the only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.

Ugh, who would want to be a pmod? Jagex would always be watching you, and you'd be completely limited in what you can say and do (I don't like arguing with little kids, but sometimes I just gotta say something)..

Playing Runescape just to become a moderator isn't a good idea.

Takes out all the fun of playing.

On-Topic:

Just obey the rules, Report rulebreakers with ACCURATE Reports, and help others.

And not to forget. Have fun playing!

As a pmod, I can tell you that Jagex doesn't look for those who try to be a pmod. Asking for pmod status is certainly a HUGE no-no. What you have to consider is that there is a tremendous amount of people out there who could qualify for pmod but Jagex hand picks each and every one. That take ALOT of time!

Just be patient, be yourself and be good. You don't have to go out of your way to talk to JMods (I never so much as saw a jmod before I became a pmod!), neither do you have to go out of your way to go on reporting sprees, or help random newbs for countless hours, it just comes eventually if you're the right person for the job.

How are you being limited as a P-Mod? You can say and do whatever you want (as long as it is within the rules), contrary to popular belief P-Mods arent Jagex's puppets.

As in generally you lose your modship if you get muted/banned.
