June 30, 200917 yr Well didn't it use to be 5M when it first came out? Everything seems to be rising due to the influx of gp in the game from PvP/Bounty Hunter. It's possible it will crash soon or it may just continue to rise until Jagex nerfs the drop rate in PvP. June 30, 200917 yr I don't think jagex will nerf the whip drop rate although they might nerf pvp or the demand changed on the whip and it falls although with the current economy i don't see that happening.

It's possible it will crash soon or it may just continue to rise until Jagex nerfs the drop rate in PvP. No.. when it came out, the prices were crazy.. like 50M if I remember correctly.. I bought my first whip for 15M.. I think it may have taken a whole year to get to 5-6M. Inflation is normal in any economy, including the RS economy.. but it's clear that inflation is not the recent cause in the rise of whips. It was the PvP/BH updates that did it, which was expected. I meant the drop rate of PvP. *Changes previous post to make clearer* The only way the Whip demand would change is if Jagex brought out some new higher level weapons that are better than it. I don't know how new godswords are as I just got back into the game over a month ago, but I'm sure that their price will drop drastically in the long term.. same with dclaws. Nope, godswords have been here for almost 2 years now. D claws about half a year. They've both pretty much stabilized.
June 30, 200917 yr I got my whip a little over 3 years ago, it was 4,2m then. I've had it ever since. Point I'm making: who cares about the price, just get one and keep it. :thumbsup: Wtf though at my dragon full helm..
