splashing help

well ive been wondering how to splash spells (air strike), i got up to -69 magic attack bonus, but it seems to kill the mouses..help?

The splash rate depends on eight things:

 

 

 

* The caster's Magic level

 

* The Magic attack bonus of the equipment the caster is wearing

 

* Any Magic prayers the caster has activated.

 

* The target's Magic level

 

* The target's Defence level

 

* The Magic defence bonus of the equipment the target is wearing

 

* Any Magic prayers the target has activated. protect or otherwise

 

* Any Defence prayers the target has activated.

 

 

 

Mice have very low defence, so you will hit occasionally. Just try and have the worst magic attack bonus you can. Another technique people go for is fire striking the fire wizard south of fally, because it is impossible to hit him.

 

You could also splash the lesser demon in the wizards tower or if you're p2p just find an ogre cage or something

I thought anything under -65 you always splashed :?

If you're AFK'ing with elemental spells, go south of faladar and attack the elemental mages, they can NEVER be hit by their own element, no matter what. Just wear dhides (and ROL if you're paranoid of dieing like me ;) ) and you're set.

 

 

 

Also, if you're attacking something like a rat you're always going to kill it eventually. Even -65 mage attack will *eventually* hit.

I think as f2p, I was able to spash with full rune + d'hide vambs. Spash at lum dummies :thumbup:

It's impossible to hit with any combat spell at -65 magic and beyond.
