Boosting is a Legit tactic is the eyes off pretty much everyone apart from Bungie. Every other company with online allows you too boost the game in some way shape or form whilst Bungie bans you. Bit OTT don't you think? I mean if people liked your game and it was not so flawed in the online matchmaking .. As I stated before second accounters most people would not find the need to boost.

Well lets face it, if you boost achievements, you're not actually ACHIEVING THEM. Like, the Two for One achievement. There's no point to it if you just tell two people in the lobby to stand in a line. Achievements don't actually reward you with anything, so you get the sense of accomplishment or you get nothing.

An achievement on Halo 3 like that really is not boosting. That's just stupidity.

 

 

 

If you want to boost it is much easier done properly and arranging it with groups. And a reward for boosting? A nice person to talk to and boost other games with.

 

 

 

But yes. I do get a sense of achievement for achiving via boosting. Why? Not because of that one achievement but being able to get the achievements in a game that I can not get without boosting. And yeah. I feel like I have achieved something even after boosting the achievement. I mean I have always gained gamerscore for fun. And to meet people to talk with whilst playing games and having fun.

 

 

 

It goes without saying that I have boosted. But I will tell you it was such a horrible process of getting everyone on at the same time and hoping everyone can get on at the same time and that you will have enough people. Otherwise boosting is no good at all.

I've done it. Went into a party with 7 other players into Halo 3 Team Mythic and got everyone all the new achievements that we didn't have yet (mostly stuff like perfection). It isn't that hard if you're among friends, but I know that, since the only vehicles available for the splatter spree were Mongooses (Mongeese?) it took a lot of coordination and many died while halfway to the spree because of people screwing around. Everything else was a breeze, especially because of the party system. I don't play Halo that much anymore, and I was helping some friends and said "sure, I'll get them, too. Not like I'll get them myself."

 

 

 

If you want to boost achievements, go for it. You're not harming anyone. XP, too, you're only harming yourself, because once you play with legitimately experienced players, you're going to get your [wagon] kicked so hard.

Meaning .. A lot of very had achievements to obtain and takes a LOT of dedication. As I have said before a lot of people do NOT realise how much of a long and boring process it can actually be to boost.
