Honour pking is part of pking, so can't I say pking is stupid and honour pking is also stupid?

See the lack of logic?

Once again.

Once again, i never said you can't dislike it.

Did i ever say that?

O.O

Oh yea well. :P.

Didn't think it through to be honest... Good luck.

O.O

Nothing.

But most pkers catch on anyway, when they realise they wont get kills safing.

 That's why I said this rant was kind of pointless.

If I wanted something done this would be in suggsetions :?

This is a rant, it doesn't have to be fixable, and what are you suggesting they fix

I have never went pking either but I know with monsters you can eat and hit at the same time, can't you do that in pvp?

Since when can you eat and hit at the same time?

You lose a combat round if you eat.

I don't pk much. Its stupid, and I don't like risking items.

Let's look at this the other way, shall we?

Your opponent and you, same level, same stats He eats a shark. One shark. 20 hp. You hit say 8. He now has 12 hp more than you effectively. So what do you do? Stupidly try your luck and try to KO him? You probably won't be able to kill him, because he has 12 more hp than you. If you're lucky, sure, but the odds are against you. So of course you eat. To keep your items safe. If you die, you don't get any items, and lose your items. If everyone eats and finally runs away, all you waste is food.

Look on the bright side... You have almost 800 posts.

You just have to time it right like you can bury bones when you attack aswell, it skips the little animation but you still get health/bury the bones.

Try it.

But as far as I know, even if you time it perfectly, you can't heal and hit at the same time unless you drink a Sara Brew (instead of eating conventional food).

Give it ago, I was doing it in the warriors guild cos I wanted to save time it wasn't happening all the time.

I try to time it with when I am about to use my whip, not when I am attacking but just a split second before it click.

Point is, its impossible to eat without slowing you down, and it makes the opponent run.

O.O

point is, don't knock till you try it. Hasn't slowed me down killing monsters before.

To keep your items safe. If you die, you don't get any items, and lose your items. If everyone eats and finally runs away, all you waste is food.

Okay lets go with this mind set "all you waste is food"

Say you only pk 5 times every week, so in a year you fight 260 times.

The average gear of a f2p 'pker' with full rune; 2h, strength pot, teleport runes, 23 lobsters

Currently: lobster @ 297ea, strength potion @ 1,336ea

23 x 297 = 6,831 gp/per fight

260 x 6,831 = 1,776,060 gp

260 x 1,336 = 347,360 gp

So you are effectively losing 2,123,420 coins to save 245k worth of items.

Keeping your items is good and all. But you have to take risks to gain something.

--------------------

Eating has a greater delay then burying a bone. Though you do not see the animation, the delay is still there. Try using a slower weapon and you will see the big difference. Also if someone that was 'honor pking' constantly timed eating before they swung, just so they can eat and hit at the same time, in my opinion would be kissing the floor pretty fast.

Actually, people swing and then eat.

So you are at a disadvantage even though your gaining health without losing an attacking turn? Riiiight.

If I can gain health while my opponent is potentialy losing health and without my attacking speed slowing, how is that a disadvantage? It isn't.

What you are saying is attack as normal till you either die or kill the opponent? That is what you are suggesting, eating when you are not attacking which makes you miss a turn. I think you will take a dirt nap that way. Why bother bringing food then?

I have been doing it quite alot since I posted it on here and I am getting pretty good at it.

Well I never! Is that what eating does?!

I didn't say don't eat did I you downie. I said don't eat to full every single time they hit you, else neither of you will kill one another. And yes, I'm sure that everyone's goal on a pvp world is to go there and eat up to full all day and waste food without getting any kills...
