AnyBody Can Any Suggestions?

i'd say...first try to make the face...if u can't handle it at all give up...

It would be a pity in my opinion to work hard on a nice matching background and then u end up with an ugly face...cause i know girl pics are that hard sometimes to replicate that they keep looking ugly no matter what you do...more or less how they look like when they wake up :)

Like Jeppoz said, you should do the head before worrying the last decorations.

I guess the white background would be ok (nothing too colorful, i guess she is the main thing in the pic :)), but if you want some color, i would recommend something like light brown or something close to her skin/hairs.

edit: I wouldnt go to abstract on the background, but if you can do really well fitting absctract background on that, then i have nothing bad to say about it :)

I like her too :)

Well, a crash course in how I learned is...

First, make an outline of thw WHOLE image.

Then, fill it in with the base color, or the color that is used most, in this case it seems to be skin color, pinksih orangeish whatever.

Then, keep adding layers, each adding another detail. It can be the hair, another the eyes, or another chading effects.

Thats basically how I do it if im drawing an image

If it isn't in your veins, you'll never know.

good tips. I like starting with hard part (the face in this case), cause after your done with it things fall in easier. Second i wouldnd recoommand doing such a small picture (when you minimize a bigger picture all the minor problems, like chopines, seem to disappear). You shouldnt really post just the shoulder either, cause doesnt seem like you put to much work into it yet.

They are not that good, and are still chopy cause i couldnt minimize them. HOpe you get the idea.

was just checkin if i was heading in the right direction.. thanx for all the tips :P

vlad those are some kick wagon images, but the face/hair skin/dress and skin/background transitions seem very sharp and pixelish, pay some attention to them next time.
