Guthans at Bandits overnight?

Featured Replies

Hello, I was just wondering, could I leave my character overnight at Bandits with full Guthans and a ring of life? Or is it breaking some sort of rule? Thanks in advance :)

Rule breaking, AFK training.

Well everyone does that lol, I meant like a major rule that could get you banned?

No offence but who hasn't AFKed?

Me.

This is going to be locked (I bet) due to talking about rule breaking.

Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <3

I wouldn't risk it. I'm sure Jagex could easily pick up on the fact that you're afk'ing... I mean, not making a single click in the game for over 9 hours is kind of suspicious.. and I'm sure their systems would pick it up.

Depends on how many previous offenses you've had too, considering your disregard for their rules I'm guessing they are not going to be as forgiving towards you. FYI please don't ask for advice here if you know it is against JaGeX's rules.

Well it is against the rules to leave your keyboard... However, if you were genuinely attacking bandits at your keyboard and fell asleep on the mouse mat, would they discipline you? Hard to say who is actually AFK and who is on the phone at the keyboard, watching tv etc...

However, dont do it...

All night, without clicking or typing? Only spinning the camera for 7/8/9 hours? Don't think so, some how.

If you're lucky, you won't be reported by a wannabe mod for macroing. However, you most likely will.

Don't do it.

SWAG

Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.

Well, someone will probably report you for macroing even if you aren't. Jagex will find you were just afking, and slap you with a temp ban and a warning.

Hmm well thanks for the input I don't think i'll do it. I have told a few friends about what I planned to do, so I might use them as a test case :P

Thanks again

There's many reasons why AFK training is risky, but what it boils down to is much of what these users have already posted about: AFK training, such as leaving your computer to sleep while you train, is against Jagex Rules and subsequently against our rules.

There's no harm in asking questions, but for your sake, please have a look over Tip.it's Rules before posting in the future.

Good luck training! It's a long grinding battle :P
