I think ethnicity and demographics can determine what are the chances for successes and failures but successes and failures are determined by someone's point of view and are not absolute.

Nice read, especially since I played hockey and was near the date cut so I was amongst the youngest. In Quebec though, the dates are different : october 1st.

Very interesting read, the part about hockey players born earlier in the year makes sense, but the lawyer example just confuses me.

demographic. Interesting, but the age thing is very obvious no? It's the same case with youth athletics. Boys who have are more mature, will run faster or jump higher. Most of these burn out before they get senior though. They're used to winning, but at one point, everybody has gotten his full grown and musculated body, so he loses his advantage.
