- Therefore, in this game, the laws of physics must be changed. A way I could see this working is that the only thing we can bypass is that it is impossible for anything to move faster than light. We could refer to FTL travel as something like hyperspeed, and in hyperspeed a ship could use some sort of technology to move faster than light. This technology wouldn't be questioned and would just be accepted in general as starting technology.
