August 5, 200916 yr I'm Just about to go and kill Bork but I was wondering what is the best setup for killing him my current armour is. Helm- Helm of Neitiznot Cape- Legends Body- Black d' hide Legs- Black d' hide Boot- Dragon boots Wepon- Not sure Gloves- Barrows Necklace- Fury I will be praying melee. If anything what should I change and what wepon should I bring, I have a SS but I'm not sure if I should go with something like Whip+Rune defender. August 5, 200916 yr I say wear Proselyte instead so you can pray melee and piety. I found that mage armor didn't really do much. Use whip and defender.

August 5, 200916 yr Just use whip, you'll knock him out easily. I also prefer d'hide over prossy as the mage is the only one hitting you and 1 pray pot is more than sufficient. Achieved quest (07/08/2009), woodcutting (28/06/2010), attack (21/07/2010), strength + constitution (07/08/2010), defence (26/09/2010), summoning (13/01/2011), herblore (03/03/2011), cook (31/08/2012), firemaking (01/09/2012), magic (08/09/2012), prayer (16/09/2012) and ranged (29/10/2012) capes.
August 6, 200916 yr You could switch the legends cape for a god cape from the mage arena for a better magic defense bonus.
August 6, 200916 yr The mage defence at Bork is fairly useless since the mage's attack is very accurate. Carry high prayer bonus armour and a load of monkfish.
August 6, 200916 yr All of my CB stats are in the 70s and I manage to do fine with 8 pineapple pizzas (So like 11 monks). I end up using 6 on average. No pray pots. Black dhide is totally useless. Not once has the mage missed me. My friend claims that with 94 mage and Karil's the mage still consistently hits him. Just use prossy as many people have suggested. You could use some offensive prayers throughout the fight with the extra pray bonus. As for a speccing weapon, I like to bring the ancient mace. Don't use it on Bork though. When he calls his ork legions, some of your pray pnts will have drained and the mace can restore a few of them by hitting the legions. Bring a combat potion or some other stat booster. CB potions are super cheap, but very effective. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement.Also check out my blug

August 6, 200916 yr Just wear the best prayer boosting outfit you have, pray melee protect and piety. Bring a p pot, use super att and str pots, tele tab or substitute just in case and fill the rest of your slots with sharks or monks/good food. Ignore the legion of orks for now until you're comfortable enough to fight them too. That should do it for you. Good luck.
