ipwnage4lyfe Posted August 12, 2009 Share Posted August 12, 2009 Well after trying to get a war for nearly 2 hours we were about to give up when Impact kindly accepted. We set up a 40 minute prep with melee/binds/range matched ops. We managed to pull 11 and Impact pulled 13 so they dropped to match us. Our Starting: The fight started out even with some nice tanking by Conman, forcing them to switch their pile. They mass sniped us very hard though so even though we were up 8-6 some of our members were low on food. Then Sp4z Archer and Jimmy died in close succession making it 6-5 in our favor. We killed another making it 6-4 and then Conman died. Rude Boy was then sniped out and the fight became very close when previously it seemed we had it easily :ohnoes: Magik then died and it was up to Generaldesor and David. When we saw who was left to represent our team. Our morale shot down horribly. However they managed to defeat the two remaining 126's and win it for the glory of TPR. Danny_TeamDan Posted August 12, 2009 Share Posted August 12, 2009 Haha was really an epic war. Imps out leveled you guys quite a bit i believe - Didn't take any screenies v.v. And you guys out binded us. I wanted to weaken conman a bit since he was your highest lvl and realizing we had very little binders [ A few had to go 5 mins before war so we had like 15ish and figures our binders had to leave :wall: ] So after doing some damage to con we just switched piles around trying to get rid of your binders health which ended up working out in the long run to make it an odd war. It when back and forth a lot was 9v9 to 9v8 to 8v6 i think but our mass snipe kicked in when we needed it to get us back to matched opts a few times. Even though we managed to get it down to 2v2 you guys were still very stable on food counts but it was thrilling to go down 2-3 opts and manage to keep it up for grab for either side \ Was honnestly one of the most epic thrilling short prep war for both sides. Was pretty clean i think someone on our side was a bit flamey so i apologize if he was outta hand.
