manitstinks
I need a good strategy to train my thieving up a bit. I want to know which rooms at which levels and what thing I should search.
pikachu54673
At 63 Thieving, your best bet would probably be to loot all of both the 51 and 61 rooms. Maybe even some in the 41 room if you have extra time. The thing about Pyramid Plunder is that you have to fine tune your own strategy. The best inventory would be 4 Super Anti-Poison (4) and 24 Monkfish. From my experience this is an almost perfect food/potion ratio (this was at 75 hp though). Take a dose of potion at the beginning of each game, it lasts 5 minutes, the same amount of time a game of Pyramid Plunder lasts. Lastly, do the Contact! quest for a bank in Sophanem. Good luck! Feel free to HYT me in-game =)~~3,483rd to 99 Thieving, Feb 22, 2008~~"There's never enough time to do all the nothing you want." - Calvin (& Hobbes)

michel555555
what i usually do is only get chests then loot all of the last two rooms. the higher your thieving level the less time you have when you get to higher rooms though so you shold try a few stratagys to see what works best for you. Probably looting both chests and coffins then all of the last two rooms might work but you'll need to work out whatever stratagy works best for you. [spoiler=click you know you wanna]Me behave? Seriously? As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella arrived home from a party after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladin was a thief, Batman drove over 200 miles an hour, Snow White lived in a house with seven men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos, Pac man ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance, and Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies who always had the munchies. The fault is not mine! if you had this childhood and loved it put this in your signature!
ultimatballr
My strategy: [*:3jbs6jom]Summon my first bunyip. Get to my second highest room as fast as possible. [*:3jbs6jom]Loot all the Urns, do not check for snakes. (This is highly time dependent. I would rather loot all the Urns in my final room and leave the Pyramid early rather than loot all in the 2nd highest room and run out of time before I can loot all in my best room. [*:3jbs6jom]Loot all the Urns in my best room. [*:3jbs6jom]Loot the chest if I have enough time. If I have extra time after that then I just leave the pyramid. You stats are pretty similar to mine so this is what I wear and what my inventory look like. I kind of run out of pouches before I run out of Super Anti's but I also sometimes will bank half-way through because I have terrible luck with the Urns and get bitten very often. If I bring 4 more pieces of food (usually lobbies) then I can finish off all 4 pouches without banking. Also, there is no need for energy pots, so do NOT waste space with them. Apparently, my signature was to big.
winthern
I know I don't quite optimise for speed as I bank between each run using glory/duel ring and then sceptre but doesn't cost too much time and much quicker than contact as you instantly tele to the mummy. This way it's also cash generative rather than losing cash. I use 1 super anti does per round and a few fish but admittedly have never got round to using a bunyip - maybe I should try :) In terms of the individual round: my rule of thumb (that I read in some guide many years ago) go to your penultimate room and loot there (without checking for snakes) as fast as possible until your timer is down to half and then go to your final room and loot all (again without checking for snakes). If you're feeling lucky you can do the sarcophagi but really not sure it's worth it for the lost thieving xp.
ladycai
Generally I always bank after each run. It's faster than dumping loot anyway. I bring about 10-15 tunas and then run in. Most often, I only check the sarcophagus and the golden chest in lower lvl rooms, then aim for looting the highest level. You can loot some of the lvl 51 rooms, but I don't recommend it. Also, I don't bring antipoisons. It's only 2 damage each time, so who cares? You can optimize prayer equipment if you want to protect against melee during the entire time. remember Sophanem has an altar. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]
