SacredFlam3s
i need to trim my attack cape, and i was wondering, is there a fast way to get 99 cooking cheaply, (under 3 mil), or even a profitable way. I just dont like the idea of burning 90k maple logs. Jaffy1
Cheap is slower. It's either pay more for speed, or pay in "time" for money. You could try lobsters or tuna. Pike, salmon and trout would be cheapest, but slower as well. You can also just fish them... nerdboyxxx
To save money, just cook whatever you can't burn. Look here for a guide: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Pay-to- ... g_Training Has a list of different methods of training, cheap or slightly expensive and shows you what to cook so you won't burn anything. Be warned though, it will be slow. Not sure about total cost though :?

PlzPuddngPlz
Well, if you spend 10 hours making money, and can save 20 hours of cooking, you should do that. Sig by me, in MS paint, but I'm still working on it. Suggestions appreciated This guide is as concise as a gourmet's handbook with the guidelines of "Pick up fork, stab food, insert into your mouth, then chew". ultimatballr
Accept the fact that your attack cape is untrimmed and get 99 str?? You know something that won't take unreasonably long and will benefit you in the end. Considering the ways you will have to be getting 99 cooking with the methods you are looking for it may actually be faster to just do str anyway. Apparently, my signature was to big. I don't see where you are coming from... fletching still costs money and is equally as useless as 99 cooking. I was suggesting a more constructive alternative that in the end would benefit him much more than 99 cooking (as that is what he asked about, not fletching) Furthermore, for him to gain 99 str would pretty much make him able to Boss hunt any NPC which makes his ability to gain money even better, which could result in faster cooking/fletching levels anyway with more expensive methods. Again I don't see what your point was with that post. Apparently, my signature was to big.

Again I don't see what your point was with that post.Fletching yews does not cost money if you do it right, especially not a drain like cooking can be. Example: Right now yew logs cost 470 Gp. Flax is 78 Gp (but you can buy 5 or so gp below that). 470+78= 548 Gp costs. Yew longbows alc for 768 Gp, but they sell for 692 Gp. 692-548= 144 Gp profit per yew. I know it's not much, but at least it's something. ultimatballr
You are also forgetting the fact that flax takes TIME to make into bowstrings. Again in the time he could get 99 fletching through making his own flax + buying the yew logs, he could of had 99 str (if not then very close to it). Time = Money. If he is going to spend time+money on inferior training methods for skills that will have 0 benefit for him in the future then why not train str? With str he would be spending the same time and at a fraction of the cost on a skill that could benefit him completely in the future through increasing his money gained per hour. I see no point in raising fletching or cooking with a slower method to preserve cash. (Especially not for the sole purpose of trimming a cape) When he can get 99 str in the same amount of time (give or take a couple hours) and have a more useful skill in the scheme of things. Maybe that's just my opinion but it seems logical to me. This will more than likely be my last post here btw, I feel as though I am spamming this thread. Apparently, my signature was to big. Jaffy1
Bowstrings: 179 Gp They buy for 175 Gp as well, just bought a bunch. 470 Gp (yews) + 175 Gp = 645 Gp, which still is less than the price they sell for. 692 (current price longbow) - 645 (costs) = 47 Gp profit still. Besides, why not get the extra crafting xp from spinning some? stonewall337
Wouldn't it be hard to find a Yew longbow buyer, especially in mass quantities? Grand exchange. If he wants to get crafting XP he should just make d'hide bodies or b staffs. If he wants cooking he should just cook swordies->monks->sharks. If he wants fletching then mage magic longs. These are the fastest and best ways normally, as you can make the money back in the time saved. [hide=Drops]Araxxor Eye x1 Leg pieces x2GWD: 5000 Addy bar Steam B Staff x3 Z Spear x6 Sara.
